The freshmen weekend is almost full! For everyone who is not able join the freshmen weekend (anymore), we organized a freshmen day on Sunday 19 August. This is the Sunday before the OWee. During this day you will get to know both the study association and your fellow students. Freshmen day is an alternative to the freshmen weekend and a good start for the OWee and the beginning of your student life. To receive more information about the event register via this link.
About the freshmen introduction
Every year, the study association for Applied Mathematics and Computer Science ‘Christiaan Huygens’ organizes a weekend for all new first-year students of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the beginning of the new academic year. We will have a Freshmen Weekend where you can enjoy a lot of activities. During these activities you will get to know your fellow students.
During this weekend, which is part of the OWee, you will have plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow students and get acquainted with the faculty and study association. All you need to do to participate is register via the OWee website!
About the study association
W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' is a study-related association that organizes various activities for its members, such as lectures and symposiums, as well as lunches, parties and excursions. Furthermore, the association sells your study books at a discount, publishes a yearbook every year and organizes this weekend of course.
The freshmen introduction of W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' is organized by the freshmen weekend committee: the WIEWIE. You can contact them for most questions or you can call the study association, in many cases the board is able to help you with your question.
